FB Friend 元俊 highly recommended that I try Snow Skin Mooncake from Yuen Fatt. It is now available for sale.

I prefer Shanghai Mooncake, so I just bought the lotus paste version to try. Really not bad, not too sweet and the snow skin is soft.

It is said that the moon is especially bright during the Mooncake Festival. During festivals, people tend to miss home, miss their neighbourhood even more than usual and will try to be reunited with their family.

The first signs that Mooncakes are available for sale will be a good reminder for us to make plans to spend time with our dear ones back home.

My first taste of Shanghai mooncakes was last year, and I have liked it since. So, I decided to visit Kluang to try out freshly baked ones and also to taste all 3 shop's production. Today, I am at Nam Yick. The old shop is situated next to a traffic circle and is of rustic kampung charm. I have heard that after this year's Mooncake Festival, they will be moving.

I find the box to my liking and there is the traditional brown paper bag.

It is advisable to call up and make advance order. They do not appoint any reseller outside.

月到中秋分外明。每逢佳节，在外的游子，会加倍的思念家人，思念家乡。大家都会尽可能回家团聚，团圆。

月饼开始销售时，便是最好的提醒，让我们提早准备和安排与家人过节的节目。

自从去年尝了上海月饼之后，便喜欢上了。所以今年决定到居銮去尝鲜和尝完三家有名的饼家。今天我来到南益饼家。 老店位于交通圈的一角， 富有甘榜味道，也听说过了今年中秋，便需要搬迁。

价钱表就在Photo里。

个人觉得这家的盒子最合意，还有传统的纸袋。

建议打电话预定比较好。 这家没有批发给别人。

I got up early to drive up "north" to Kluang for Shanghai Mooncakes. The journey is filled with beautiful scenery, I listened to songs that are suitable for Road Trips, spirits were high. ..that I sang with  [动力火车]。。。“Kluang..ah, 我回来啦。。。“

Yu Kong makes the Shanghai mooncakes with a buttery pastry and has the nice fragrance of milk powder. When I arrived, the mooncakes were just baked and being aired on trays. I cannot resist taking a bite to taste the freshness, despite the lady boss's advice on waiting till the cakes are cooled, heh heh.

This shop only makes mooncakes during the Mid Autumn Festival. It's daily business is roasted meat. It is advisable to call up and make advance order. They do not appoint any reseller outside.

起个大早， 开车“北上”到Kluang买上海月饼。一路上的风景宜人，听着适合Road Trip的歌曲，心情美到。。。。。跟着[动力火车] 唱。。。“Kluang..ah, 我回来啦。。。“

这家的饼皮有奶油和奶粉香。 我刚好买到刚出炉的，忍不住尝了鲜， 虽然老板娘说要放到凉方能吃。嘿嘿。。。

在中秋时期才卖上海月饼，平时是卖烧腊饭。打电话预定比较好。 没有批发给别人。
