This is my first taste of the dish and immediately love the peanut (kacang) gravy, even though it is a bit oily, just like the gravy for dipping Satay. It was really fragrant and balanced in taste. 

There were long beans, tau kuah (bean curd) and tempeh mixed in the gravy. It is enjoyed together with the rice cubes / chunks. 

The curry chicken wing that came with it was fresh and of a good size. It tasted delicious. 

Clean and comfortable dining space.

Finally I remember to try this delicious Nasi Ambang (although there is no Mee Goreng in it). The little fishes were delightfully crispy and yet not saltish like a Salted Fish. Serundeng Kelapa is surprisingly juicy and spicy (I like spicy). Sambal Chilli also shiok (sweet & spicy). Chicken is ok. 

Update: Sometimes customers get to choose to have salted fish or the little fishes. You can ask them when ordering.

终于我也尝了这美味的Nasi Ambang (虽然这版本没有Mee Goreng) 小鱼很脆， 不会像咸鱼般的死咸。 辣味椰丝不会干巴巴，有汁且香辣 （我喜欢辣）。叁巴辣椒也很对味 （甜辣）鸡肉还不错。

更新： 有时候会有咸鱼和小鱼供顾客选择。您可以在买的时候，向档家询问。

What we like:

Nasi Campur's selection looked appetising, and I plan to try soon. 

Mee Soto Rm 4.30 or Rm 4.50, I think. It was of good portion and came with Begedil. Add the sambal kicap (spicy black sauce) to make the soup tasty. I find this to be average. 

Assorted Kuih. Rm 1 for 3pcs. I find this to be of good value and slightly above average in taste. 

Nice view of the opposite building, Bangunan Dato’ Mohammad Salleh Perang (BDMSP) and landscaped walkway.

Clean dining environment and prompt service in clearing the tables.

Friendly service with reasonable drink prices. 

Air-conditioned (although under power). There are outdoor seating too.

Easy parking.

What we don't like:

Mee Rebus was not to our liking. Rm 3.50, I think.

Food Stalls next to Muzium Bugis

They were closed when we were there before lunch time. 

This is a recreation park off the Federal Route 95. It has a children's playground, an exercise area (just like an outdoor gym). The Muzium Bugis is also sited here.  Next to the Muzium will be the river mouth of Sungai Rambah, flowing into The Malacca Strait. 

Lots of shade provided by the trees, keeping the seaside park cool and with the nice sea breeze blowing, it was very comfortable to relax there. With the therapeutic "music" by the waves lapping against the shore, it is easy to free one's mind of any stress.

Picnic, sit around, have a cold drink, some titbits or fishing. There is something to do for everyone. We spotted a Monitor Lizard swimming away in the river, many birds flying over the water, feasting their "catch of the day". 

I was glad that there were dustbins for park users to keep the place clean. 

There is a public toilet for use for a fee.
