Update: New branch opening at Sutera Utama, same row as Ichi Zen Japanese Restaurant 一膳 @Sutera Utama 五福城

On every visit, we see customers waiting outside the cafe before it opened. There are 2 entrances, so the tables filled quickly when the doors were opened for business. A quick glance will put it as about 60% filled in less than 5 minutes (including the external seating).

What we like:
Chicken Chop (Fried with Mushroom Sauce) Rm 13.00
We prefer this version to the grilled with black pepper sauce.
It is bigger due to the batter and it also absorb the sauce better.
Mushroom sauce tasted better than Black Pepper sauce (also nice but a little weak)
Chicken fresh and still juicy and tender (refer to photo)
I like the potato wedges, and it went well with the sweet and spicy (with a sting) Diamond Brand SOS Chilli Sauce (a bottle on every table).
Coleslaw was a nice surprise, yummy.

Chicken Chop (Grilled with Black Pepper Sauce) Rm 13.00
If you don't want fried stuff, the Grilled version is good.
I will go for mushroom sauce instead.

Sirap Lychee Rm 4.30
Nothing fancy but was a cool respite from the hot sun outside.

Service was prompt.

Dining area were clean and comfortably cooled by the air-con, and air was free from any smell from the kitchen.

Cutlery and sauce bottles were clean and filled.

What we don't like:
Limited parking lots, need to park further and take a walk.

Also Available:
Full Menu (please refer to photos)

To Try Next:
IT Roo Fried Rice
