Laksa 叻沙 Rm 6 (S) 7 (M) 8 (L)
Mrs Tea's current top choice for Laksa in Johor. Gravy is lemak (coconut milk rich), nice Laksa leaves sprinkled for aroma.
Thick Bee Hoon 粗米粉 is of the thickness that we like (about yellow noodle size).
Ingredients include 2 fried fish balls, 2 pieces of fried beancurd (Tau Kwa without stuffing), fried beancurd skin (Tau Kee), Char Siew slices (small) and bean sprouts (Tau Geh) 豆芽.
Dining area is comfortable and neat.
What we do not like:
Lor Mee 卤面 Rm 4.50 (S) 5.50 (M) 6.60 (L)
Surprised to find sweet tasting minced pork as ingredient. Gravy not fragrant with five spice 五香味 and is a little too watery 太水 for my liking.
Sambal Chilli not spicy to give omph and there is no minced garlic 蒜泥 provided. Ingredients include Char Siew slices (small), minced pork, fish cake slices, bean sprouts, half a hard-boiled egg and mushroom slices.
Slightly pricey for the amount of ingredients (portion) given.
