Our last visit was during their opening and we still have fond memories of the delicious food served, the prompt service and comfortable dining environment.

What we like:
Service was already good and attentive, has been further improved.

I like that plates were provided by default, for customers to place the bones and food bits that they don't want. This is really neat and I hope more restaurants can provide this.

Dining comfort, cleanliness (plates were cleared promptly) and adequate air-con (on a hot day) are maintained. Still no houseflies detected.




Cauliflower Manchurian Rm 11.99
We loved this dish from the last visit and it still tasted as good as before. Usually, we will try new dishes in order to explore, but we just cannot resist repeating. :)


SK Fried Rice Rm 12.99
Missed this last year as we went the Naan way. Many Facebook Foodie Group Friends have tried and recommended this as a must try. Finally we get our chance and it blew our expectations wide. 
I must confess that when it was served with the egg covering the fried rice, I was disappointed with the presentation (see photo). But, the fragrance was floating in the air and revived my interest. 

Once we uncover the fried rice by cutting through the egg, what a pleasant view and even more pleasing fragrance emitted. 
The rice had wok hei and basmati rice was used to fry with eggs, prawns, capsicum black fungus 木耳 and spring onions. There was a hint of olive or olive oil. 




SK Fish Head Curry Rm 37.99
Served boiling hot in a claypot, the way I liked it.
Meat was thick (photo) and fresh. It was a half-head and big but the meat was not a lot, good for 2 person at most. 
Gravy was another highlight, thick and full of aroma from the spices. You can choose the level of spiciness when ordering. 
There was very little amount of lady finger and brinjal added.



Food was so delicious and we had curry, that I forgo the dips altogether.

I did notice that most of the main course prices have been adjusted (for the better), but I am not sure if there is any adjustment in the portion though. Regular customers will know better.

2 year validity for Rm 200 with food vouchers given upon signing up. Card holders are entitled to discounts, as high as 50% at both The Marcopolo Kitchen, The Spice Kitchen, their catering service and any new restaurants that they may open in future.
