Finally we get to try the popular Ogura Cake 相思蛋糕 (Original 原味) Rm 8.00 from this cake shop. Heard much about how light and delicious it is.
It was sold pre packed (photos), suitable as gifts and tourists take-away. There were a few flavors but bought the Original Flavor. Cake was fluffy and light with very little cream (photo). I must admit this did not win me over as I have my preference for cakes.
Pandan Chiffon Cake 斑兰戚风蛋糕 Rm 5.00
Taste above average with little pandan flavor (more healthy due to little or no essence added?) and not as moist as our favourite versions from Lian Pang Cake Shop 联邦西菓屋 and Bengawan Solo .
Crew were friendly and generally the cakes and bread were price friendly too.
