Along the main road, Jalan Klebang Besar, they set up a booth for the convenience of takeaways, just at the entrance of the small road leading to their dine in place.
It is easy to drive from Malacca Town, on a straight road No. 5 till you see the roadside kiosk mentioned above. If you missed the turn, you can do a u-turn at the Caltex Petrol Station nearby.
There are small plots of land used for planting yam, etc, around the car park (photos).
We have to order at the counter and make payment first. Get a seat and wait for the coconut shake and drinks to be served to you at the table. The seating space was clean and comfortable.
It was cooling despite the sunny day when we visited. The natural breeze and the fans did their work. Mixed of warm and cool breeze.
They also sell Mee Goreng, Bee Hoon Goreng and Nasi Lemak in pre-packed form, and a good variety of kuih (3 for Rm 1.00), kept in Tupperware type of containers (more hygienic than exposed) (as shown in the photos). We will check these out in our future visit.
This was our first trial of the popular coconut shake, I prefer this version to Wonderful World Coconut Shake's version. It does not have Gula Melaka in it, it is smoother and has more coconut flesh bits in the shake. The scoop of vanilla ice cream added did not taste different though.
Rm 2.20 for our order of Coconut Shake Special. (Special = add 1 scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, Regular is without.)
This is so good on warm days, we will miss it.
